No platform listed?
ClauseClear is plain JavaScript — it works on any platform that lets you add a custom <script> tag to a single page. The custom-HTML guide covers the general approach. If you’re on Magento, BigCommerce, Webflow, Ecwid, or anything else, drop us an email and we’ll write you specific steps.
What the install does
The single script tag does three things, all inside an isolated Shadow DOM so it cannot conflict with your site’s CSS or JavaScript:
- Adds an inline link to your T&C tickbox area saying “See the key terms you’d normally miss — Simpler Terms by ClauseClear”
- Adds the ClauseClear Verified badge to your order summary (when your audit is GREEN)
- Renders the Simpler Terms modal when a shopper clicks either
